Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing VOX Karaoke Cocktail Bar. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and an enjoyable experience for all our guests. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before your visit. By making a booking or entering our premises, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. BOOKING INFORMATION

1.1 Reservations
Bookings can be made via our website, by phone, or by email. We strongly recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially for large groups, weekends, or special occasions.

1.2 Deposits

A £3 deposit per guest is required for all bookings. Deposits are processed securely via Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. For details on how your payment information is handled, please see: Stripe Privacy Policy.

1.3 Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance are eligible for a full deposit refund.

  • Cancellations or amendments made within 72 hours of the booking will result in the loss of the deposit.

  • We reserve the right to charge for no-shows or late cancellations without prior notice.

1.4 Amendments
Any changes to your booking must be made at least 72 hours before the booking by phone, email or WhatsApp. Any amendments made after this time may partially or fully lose their deposit.

1.5 Payments
We operate a no split bill policy. Full payment must be made as one transaction. Organisers of group bookings are responsible for collecting payment from their guests in advance.

1.6 Late Arrival Policy
Reservations will be held for 15 minutes past the scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or loss of booking. Please call us on 0151 458 4812 if you expect to be late; we will try our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee availability during peak times.

1.7 Package Selection
All members of a party must select the same package even if there’s not the same amount of time remaining when originally paid for. Remaining bar spend is non-refundable and non-transferable.

1.8 Extensions
Session extensions are subject to availability and will be charged for the number of guests as the initial booking unless stated otherwise. Please notify staff of any extensions before your session ends. Please also note we can refuse extensions for any reason we see fit, even if there is space; extensions are at staff’s discretion.

1.9 Holidays and Bank Holidays
All bank holidays and major holidays will be charged at our peak pricing rate.

1.10 Waitlist
If no slots are available, you may join our waitlist through our website. We'll notify you in the event of cancellations.

1.11 Pricing
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

1.12 Service Charge
A discretionary 10% service charge applies to the entire bill, including entry and additional charges. You are not obligated to pay this and may ask for it to be removed. Once this has been paid and agreed to upon that payment, this is no longer able to be disputed.

1.13 Cashless Venue
We are a cashless venue. All payments must be made by card or digital payment methods.

2. VENUE TERMS

2.1 Age Restriction & ID Policy

  • We operate a Challenge 25 policy: acceptable ID includes a valid UK driving licence, passport, or PASS-accredited card. Management and Security have the right to refuse entry at their discretion through this policy if challenged, and no form of physical valid identification can be provided.

  • Entry is restricted to over 18s past 8pm.

  • We do not allow entry to children under the age of 4 years old.

  • Any under 18s must be accompanied by an over 18, and there is no alcohol allowed in the booths where an under 18 is present.

Any failure to comply with these terms may result in loss of booking, removal from venue or no entry.

2.2 Entry & Security

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry at our discretion for any reason.

  • Bag searches will be conducted by trained door staff.

  • Sharp objects, illegal substances, or dangerous items are strictly prohibited.

  • Guests exhibiting aggressive or inappropriate behaviour will be refused entry or removed from the venue.

2.3 Dress Code
Our dress code is smart casual. Sportswear, beachwear, and shorts are strictly prohibited.

2.4 Food & Drink Policy
There is no outside food or drinks allowed in the venue this includes water. They will be confiscated on arrival; anything snuck into the venue will be taken and poured or binned.

2.5 Venue Safety & Conduct

  • CCTV is in operation 24/7. Sounds and iMages are being recorded at all times.

  • Smoking, vaping, and drug use are prohibited.

  • Guests must wear footwear and keep lighting on in rooms to prevent injury.

  • Please report spillages or broken glass immediately to staff.

  • Please do not stand on any furniture at any point within the venue to avoid injury.

  • You may be held financially liable for any damages or lost equipment, whether caused intentionally or by negligence. This includes broken glasses.

2.6 Liability
VOX Entertainment Limited accepts no liability for personal injury or damage to property unless caused by proven negligence. Guests who do not follow health and safety instructions do so at their own risk.

3. ACCESSIBILITY

3.1 Accessible Entry

Our venue is partially accessible and includes two entrance points. Please inform us in advance if you require accessibility support. Our venue does not have a lift.

3.2 Accessibility in the venue

Wheelchair access is available but rooms that have sufficient space to fit wheelchairs may not be available and are subject to availability. Please ask for further details before booking.

4. ALLERGENS & FOOD SAFETY

We take allergens seriously and aim to support guests with dietary requirements.

  • Please inform us of any allergens when booking or upon arrival.

  • Information on the 14 legally recognised allergens is available from staff on request.

  • Our allergen matrix is available in venue only and cannot be shared in advance to ensure accuracy.

  • We cannot guarantee that dishes are 100% allergen-free due to the risk of cross-contamination.

5. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

All personal data collected during bookings will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.
We use third-party providers, such as Stripe, for secure payment processing.
